Evvi is dedicated to protecting user privacy and ensuring full transparency in how any data related to app usage is handled. Unlike many applications, Evvi does not require account registration, login, or the submission of personal information (such as name, email address, phone number, or social media credentials) to access its core features. This Privacy Policy explains what data (if any) may be accessed, how it is used, and the measures taken to protect user information.
Evvi does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) about users. This includes, but is not limited to: - Personal identifiers such as name, email address, or contact details; - Unique device identifiers (including IMEI, MAC address, or advertising ID); - Location data (GPS or approximate geographic location); - App usage analytics or browsing history; - Personal metadata associated with photos (such as geotags, unless retained by the user in edited photos).
Evvi may request access to your device’s photo library solely to enable photo selection for editing and save edited photos back to your device. This access is optional—declining it will limit your ability to use the app’s core editing features. Evvi does not upload, store, or share any photos from your library to external servers or third parties. All photo editing is performed locally on your device.
Evvi may request access to your device’s storage to save edited photos and temporary files (such as preview versions of edits). These files are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to external servers. You may delete these files at any time through your device’s settings menu.
All editing processes—including background blur, subject recognition, color adjustment, and watermark addition—are executed locally on your device. No data related to your edits or photos is transmitted to Evvi’s servers or shared with third-party services. This ensures that your photos and editing preferences remain completely private and under your full control.
Evvi does not integrate with third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media platforms that collect user data. The app does not display advertisements, and we do not share any user information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. The only external communication associated with Evvi is through the support email (evvishutter53@outlook.com), which is used exclusively for user inquiries and feedback.
Since Evvi processes all data locally on your device and does not collect or store personal information, there is no risk of your data being breached, stolen, or misused by external parties. We recommend securing your device with a passcode, biometric authentication, or other security measures to protect your photos and content.
Evvi is intended for use by users of all ages, but we do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. As the app does not require account registration or data submission, there is no mechanism for us to identify the age of users or collect data specific to children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the app’s features or to align with evolving privacy standards. Any modifications will be posted within the app, and your continued use of Evvi after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will not implement changes that increase data collection or sharing without clear notification to users.
You have complete control over all data associated with your use of Evvi: - You may revoke photo library or storage access at any time via your device’s settings; - You may delete any edited photos or temporary files from your device; - You may uninstall the app at any time, which will remove all Evvi-related data from your device; - No personal information is required to use the app, and no data is retained by Evvi after you stop using the app.
